So the story goes, there was an Irishman called Paddy set up on the banks of the Murray peddling grog to the cattlemen passing his way.
He tired of the standard diet of Murray fish, and helped himself to the cattle being overlanded past his door.
This did not earn him many friends, instead landing him in an early – and shallow – grave with three bullet holes through his skull.
And now? Now his ghost lives on in our wines.

WINEMAKING Picked in the cool of the evening at optimal ripeness, the wine was tank fermented to dry to maintain fruit intensity and freshness with the judicious influence of French oak.
COLOUR Deep ink red with a purple hue.
AROMA Ripe red fruits of raspberry and strawberry are woven together with cedar spice and a touch of vanilla.
PALATE Full bodied with a smooth suppleness and persistent finish. Ripe berries and savoury characters consistent throughout. Match to chargrilled beef, vegetarian pizza or slow cooked curries.
