This single vineyard, single varietal Shiraz is abundant and generous in style. Full bodied and intensely flavoured, it’s produced from our estate grown grapes that have been dried on the vine to concentrate flavours and sugars. For additional complexity and flavour integration, the wine has been aged in American oak barrels for 18 months. With layers of rich dark fruit and smooth tannins the wine is multi-layered and accessible.

WINEMAKING The 2018 Riverland vintage conditions were dry resulting in slightly below average yields. Dry hot days allowed for even and clean ripening of fruit. Careful monitoring is conducted throughout the growing season. Harvest only commences once maturity hits the specific sweet spot required after crushing into open top fermenters. The Shiraz undergoes a controlled fermentation of minimum of 10 days, before pressing. Then it is matured for a minimum of 18 months in American oak Hogs heads to achieve maximum tannin and fruit balance
COLOUR Deep plum red with magenta hue.
AROMA Fresh black rose petal, amidst succulent ripe strawberry and sweet chocolate oak tannins.
PALATE Mouth filling richness, round ripe dark berry fruit and luscious full body. Abundant silky tannin finishes with strength and passion.
FOOD PAIRING Rich beef stroganoff, pan-seared fillet mignon with red wine jus.
