Merlot is an elegant and soft variety that provides a supple wine of finesse. The 2017 Vintage was slightly later in starting than usual, only commencing in the last week in February. Cooler conditions allowed this Vintage to Finish with Balanced Quality and respectful yields.

Fermented on skins for 10 days and carefully monitored to allow a fermenting regime of 24 to 28 degrees. Seasoned, house select French oak is used in the maturation of this smooth well-balanced Merlot. during Malolactic.
