Chardonnay

Chardonnay

On the run between our South Australian vineyards, we collude with our vines to deliver the goods on ultimate varietal expression.

We’re constantly scheming about rejuvenating our beautiful Murray wetlands too – for which the authorities have already chased us down an award!  Enjoy with your last meal or in isolation.

This refreshing Chardonnay is smooth and full-bodied. The ripe peach and plush citrus fruits are balanced with creamy vanillin oak. Bright and vibrant, finishing dry for a clean getaway.

Are you ready to surrender?

WINEMAKING  The 2017 vintage was noted with  February rain falls followed by an intense 3 day heat wave. Cooling off to a mild, even ripening period  to complete the 2017 grape harvest which was picked in three separate gangs.  This delivered three distinctly different parcels of ripeness and layered complexity.  Components of green apple and lime citrus, fresh white peach and tropical fruits offer diversity in a refreshing and vibrant style.

COLOUR  Pale straw with a green tinge.

AROMA  Lifted lemon curd, lime zest and ripe tropical fruits with a hint of cantaloupe.

PALATE  Smooth and full-bodied, the ripe fruits of peach, citrus and plush melon are balanced with creamy vanillin oak.  Serve with antipasto, salad and pasta.
