WINEMAKING The 2019 Vintage conditions will be remembered as hot and dry, which allowed for clean disease-free fruit. The harvest was lighter than average which produced wines of intense flavour and style. This estate grown grenache was crushed into open fermenters and allowed to ferment, until just the right flavour and colour was extracted. The free run juice was then allowed to continue fermenting until dryness in temperature-controlled fermenters. This rose was allowed to sit on yeast lees to gain a soft and creamy palate. No oak was used.
COLOUR Ripe pale raspberry in colour.
AROMA Scattered rose petals with hints of strawberries and cream and scented lollies.
PALATE Velvety soft with smooth mild length allowing for a silky fine richness. Leaving taste buds refreshed and satisfied. Serve chilled. As its name suggests, this wine of many aliases is comfortable with spicy or fusion savoury dishes just as much as delicate desserts of Panna cotta, Citrus Tart, Fresh Fruits or smoked rich cheese
