1838 was the year Walter Thomson, with wife Jane, arrived in Australia and established a winemaking tradition. Faithful to his approach, our estate grown parcels are carefully tended by our vignerons to create wines of great intensity. These parcels of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc hail from the premium cool climate Clare Valley and displays fruity elegance and finesse.

WINEMAKING Grown in the Clare Valley, the richness of fruit in its natural state is protected and nurtured through minimal intervention in the winery. The juices are combined and co-fermented at low temperature for 15 days to achieves the harmonious balance of flavour and texture.
AROMA Tropical fruits like guava and a hint of sweet honey.
PALATE Fresh cut pineapple and honey dew melon gives a zesty front palate which then gives way to stone fruits on the finish. The mouth watering acidity is precisely balanced with the abundant fruit to deliver a wonderful experience. It goes well with blue swimmer crab linguine with chilli garlic sauce
