Vine-dried Shiraz is blended with fermented estate Shiraz to create the DOUBLE PASS, which gives this classic variety a more juicy twist.

Winemaking Growing conditions were warm with limited rainfall which concentrated ripening. Vine-dried grapes from our estate block 46, were fermented into concentrated flavour and richness. The partially raisined fruit, with integrated fruit sugars, acid and tannins, was then passed back over already fermented Shiraz. French oak influence provides toast and silkiness. The result is complexity, layered with intriguing characters for a well balanced and lingering palate.
Colour Deep magenta in colour.
Nose Ripe raspberry, plum and red berries fruits with hints of violets and vanilla.
Palate Medium-bodied and lingering, the concentration of flavours combine spiced fruit cake and plum. Supported by silky tannins and French oak influence for an overall generous palate and lingering finish.
Food Pairing: Chargrilled steaks, smoky wok fried noodles with pork
and rich tomato based sauces.
Cellar: 5-7 years
